Gisela Dischner (born November 3, 1939 in Steinhöring, Bavaria) is a German literary scholar and writer.

Gisela Dischner studied from 1961 to 1965 in Munich and then (until 1967) in Frankfurt am Main Germanistik, sociology and philosophy, writer.

Between 1964 and 1970 she was in correspondence with Paul Celan and Nelly Sachs.

From 1973 to 2004 she was Professor of Modern German Literature at the University of Hannover.
